Both the 2007 and 2010 conventions of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod addressed the matter of domestic violence and child abuse asking that, among other things, appropriate materials be developed to aid church workers and congregations in dealing with such circumstances. The LCMS Domestic Violence and Abuse Task Force has published a fantastic collection of resources that I had the privilege of translating into Spanish.
